Pediatrician (MD/DO)
Position Summary
The Pediatrician provides comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents. This role focuses on preventive care, diagnosis and management of acute and chronic pediatric conditions, and family-centered care to support healthy growth and development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pediatric care to infants, children, and adolescents
- Conduct well-child visits, health screenings, and immunizations
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries
- Manage chronic pediatric conditions such as asthma, diabetes, obesity, and developmental disorders
- Monitor growth, development, and behavioral health
- Provide anticipatory guidance and education to patients and families
- Coordinate care with pediatric subspecialists, schools, and community resources
- Interpret diagnostic studies and laboratory results
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and population health initiatives
- Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers, residents, or clinical staff as applicable
- Comply with all regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited pediatrics residency program
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Pediatrics
- Ability to obtain and maintain unrestricted state medical licensure
- DEA registration or eligibility

- Manual dexterity for examinations and office-based procedures
- Visual and auditory acuity sufficient for patient assessment
Requirements
Must maintain state certification and/or licensure.
