The Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital and the Department of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time, board-certified pediatric sleep medicine specialist to join the division of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine.
Qualified candidates will be board-certified in Pediatrics and Sleep Medicine. Additional board certifications (i.e., Pediatric Pulmonology, Pediatric Neurology, etc. are encouraged).
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining programs and activities of the AASM accredited Pediatric Sleep Medicine Center. The Pediatric Sleep Medicine Center has active comprehensive programs in all aspects of clinical pediatric sleep medicine including obstructive and central sleep apnea, narcolepsy, movement disorders, parasomnias, circadian rhythm disorders, non-invasive positive pressure ventilation all in a quaternary academic pediatric setting. The candidate would join a team of 5 physician faculty members, 1 behavioral psychologist and 2 advanced practice providers who support the inpatient and outpatient efforts.
The position includes an academic appointment of Instructor or Assistant Professor on the non-tenure, Clinician Educator track in the Department of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Salary and academic rank are commensurate with qualifications.
Base Salary Range: $182,962 - $276,823
The displayed pay range represents base pay targets using designated benchmarks, which are reviewed annually. Individual salary will be determined by years in rank, experience, demand within the specialty, additional training, extramural funding, and strength of publication history. Other compensation opportunities vary but may include mission-based, clinical, research, and academic incentives or additional compensation for leadership roles in line with the respective compensation plan.
