Job Details:

Dayton Children's Hospital is recruiting for a full-time pediatric palliative care specialist to lead and transform our palliative care division. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of innovative strategies to enhance the care and support provided to our pediatric patients and their families. Employment is through Dayton Children's Specialty Physicians and includes a comprehensive and highly competitive compensation and benefit package. The successful candidate must be BC/BE in Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Medicine and hold or obtain an unrestricted Ohio medical license.

• Dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with experience in pediatric palliative care
• Consultative inpatient and ambulatory care
• Home Care based program for patients nearing end-of-life
• Dedicated social work support
• Multi-disciplinary support from chaplain services, child life, and psychology
• Supportive and nurturing environment with staff and other subspecialties
