Shift: 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: SimpliFi Program - MultiCare Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - MultiCare Health System.

Required Skills/Experience: - 2+ years high level acute OR experience; will consider adult + peds. - First-time travelers allowed if they have 5+ years of experience. - Must be able to scrub the listed case types.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Experience preferred but not required in robotics (DaVinci XI), high-level neuro, ophthalmology/strabismus repairs, and dental.
Special Requests: - Any RTO or special requests not included on your application will not be considered. - You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit and shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit and facility.
Unit Details: - Patient population includes neonates through age 18, including adult-sized patients, developmentally delayed patients, and congenital anomalies. - Cases include pediatric trauma (MVAs, GSWs, shaken baby), neurosurgery (cranies, EVDs, shunts), spine (scoliosis repairs, spinal injuries), urology (hyper/hypospadias repair, orchiopexy, orchiectomy, inguinal hernias), gynecology (ovarian torsion, ovarian cyst, endometriosis lesions, IUD placements), ortho (pinnings, ACL repairs, arthroscopies, hip osteotomies), oncology (general and tumor resections), ENT (T/As, PE tubes, trachs), general GI surgeries (lap/open appies, lap/open cholies), dental, ophthalmology/strabismus repairs, and robotics (DaVinci XI). - Uses Epic.
Shift & Scheduling: - Weekend rotation is unlikely, but a weekend shift could be assigned if weekend staff are off. - On-call approximately 2 weeknights (1900-0700) and 1 weekend (1900 F - 0700 M) every 6 weeks; 30 minute response time; 1 RN and 1 Surg Tech on call at a time.
Floating Requirements: - May float to PICU to assist with procedures and to NICU at TG (across street/connected by walkway).
14 days maximum time off
2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
Certifications:
• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA))
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
