Qualifications:
*Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy
*IL State license
*(2) years of pediatric experience preferred but new graduates may apply
*Passionate about helping kids and their families!!!
*Comfortable communicating with medical professionals
*Energetic, compassionate, positive attitude with patients and families
*Enjoys working in a team environment with PT/OT/ST and support staff
*Experience with EMR a plus
Our new OT will be responsible for the evaluation and treatment of a variety of diagnoses including Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dysgraphia, Fine Motor Deficits, Visual Motor Deficits as well as a variety of other diagnoses and related impairments.
Duties:
*Evaluating a patient's functional status
*Establishing treatment goals
*Planning treatment
*Implementing the plan of care through direct treatment
*Providing instruction and education to patient, family, and caregivers
*Evaluating need for interdisciplinary referral
*Participating in multidisciplinary patient care conferences
*Providing accurate, timely documentation of treatment
