Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist

We’re hiring a Pediatric Clinical Inpatient Pharmacist to support our pediatric and women's populations by providing safe, accurate, and timely pharmaceutical care. In this role, you’ll partner closely with physicians, nurses, and the care team to optimize medication therapy, enhance medication safety, and support positive patient outcomes across our pediatric and women's services.

Work Schedule

Shift: Day/evening rotating | Hours: 7-3:30pm or 2-10:30pm | Weekends: Every 4th weekend, holiday requirement, and on-call as needed | Assignment: Women's and Children Units

What you’ll do

• Review and verify medication orders to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and safety for each patient
• Design and adjust therapeutic regimens and monitoring plans
• Prepare and dispense medications through accurate compounding, packaging, and labeling in compliance with all regulations
• Serve as a trusted drug therapy resource by consulting with patients and care teams on dosing, interactions, side effects, and safe medication use
• Document clinical pharmacy activities and interventions clearly and accurately in the medical record
• Conduct medication reconciliation and resolve discrepancies at admission and discharge, ensuring accurate, safe, and guideline‑concordant therapy.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds with our general pediatric, pediatric ICU and neonatal ICU area

Who you are

• A licensed Pharmacist with experience or strong interest in pediatrics and acute care practice
• Knowledgeable in clinical pharmacotherapy and evidence-based medication management
• Comfortable collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care
• Effective communicator who values education and shared decision-making
