AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Physician to join our growing and highly collaborative Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team in Orlando, Florida.

Practice Description
- AdventHealth for Children is a full-service, tertiary children’s hospital featuring:
- A dedicated Cardiac ICU
- Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
- Level IV NICU and extensive neonatal network
- Active Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) program
- Comprehensive pediatric cardiac surgery and cardiology services
- Pediatric residency program with opportunities for academic involvement
- Expanding pediatric subspecialty network across Central Florida
- Our CVICU supports a growing volume of complex congenital and acquired heart disease cases, with a strong focus on quality outcomes and family-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care in the CVICU with potential coverage in the PICU
- Collaborate with pediatric cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in sedation services and ECMO management
- Engage in teaching and mentoring of residents and trainees
- Contribute to quality improvement and clinical research initiatives
Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
- Eligible for Florida medical licensure
- Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care fellowship training preferred (not required)
- Demonstrated expertise or strong interest in cardiac critical care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient care
