ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is seeking an Exhaust Technician to join our Pumps, Chillers, and Scrubbers (PCS) Team supporting semiconductor manufacturing operations.

This is a hands-on mechanical maintenance role responsible for performing preventive maintenance on exhaust systems, pumps, chillers, and related equipment that support critical production processes. The ideal candidate enjoys working with tools, has strong mechanical aptitude, and is comfortable troubleshooting and replacing components such as pumps, seals, and O-rings.

Shift: 5:45 AM to 6 PM

C-shift works every other Wednesday + Thursday through Saturday (3 days one week - 4 days the following)

Pay: $22 - $30

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 1 year of maintenance, mechanical, construction, manufacturing, or related experience
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Must be able to work onsite in Taylor, TX
  • Must meet all requirements for access to semiconductor manufacturing environments, including providing up to a 10-year work history when available
  • Perform preventative maintenance on pumps, chillers, exhaust systems, and related equipment
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and replace components including pumps, O-rings, seals, heater wraps, and other mechanical parts
  • Conduct visual inspections of vacuum pump exhaust lines and associated systems
  • Complete scheduled cleaning and maintenance activities on piping and exhaust systems
  • Document maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment readings accurately
  • Use hand tools and basic maintenance equipment safely and effectively
  • Identify potential equipment issues and report findings to leadership
  • Follow all safety procedures and cleanroom protocols while working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment
  • Support equipment uptime and reliability through proactive maintenance practices

What We''re Looking For

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working with pumps, piping, exhaust systems, HVAC systems, industrial equipment, or similar mechanical systems preferred
  • Good hand dexterity and ability to perform detailed mechanical work
  • Ability to use common hand tools and maintenance equipment
  • Comfortable working in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Perform preventative maintenance on pumps, chillers, exhaust systems, and related equipment
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and replace components including pumps, O-rings, seals, heater wraps, and other mechanical parts
