Key Responsibilities:
- Employ Mentor PADS and other design tools to synthesize schematic, mechanical, and manufacturing data into groundbreaking designs.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to navigate and resolve challenges in fabrication, assembly, and testing identified through advanced validation processes.
- Manage and update design documentation, ensuring cohesive integration of schematics, BOMs, and technical drawings within the company’s structured PLM framework.
- Ensure design package integrity by cross-verifying schematic accuracy with layout and assembly specifications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience. Consideration given to those with 8+ years of direct experience in lieu of a formal degree.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in using PLM tools such as Agile or Teamcenter.
- Comprehensive understanding of PCB design components, including schematics, BOMs, assembly, and related documentation.
- Experience with PCB design tools such as PADS, Xpedition, Cadence, and Valor.
