Morning starts at our Fairport, NY facility, where you’ll join a tight-knit production team building equipment that helps safeguard power generation, transmission, and distribution worldwide. As part of Qualitrol (a division of Ralliant), you’ll contribute to innovative monitoring solutions trusted by utilities and energy companies across the globe.

What Your Day Looks Like

You begin with a quality check of your station and materials. From there, you’ll perform precise soldering on electronic components and move between work cells to keep production flowing. You’ll operate equipment such as hydraulic presses, drill presses, and welding machines as required, package finished products, and keep your area clean and organized. Throughout the day, you’ll align your pace to daily targets while following established quality procedures and supporting continuous improvement.

Your Focus

  • Execute accurate, consistent soldering of electronic components
  • Operate production equipment, including hydraulic presses, drill presses, and welding machines
  • Rotate across multiple work cells to support throughput
  • Package completed assemblies and sustain a tidy, efficient workspace
  • Comply with documented quality standards and contribute ideas for improvement

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • 1+ year of assembly or lean manufacturing experience
  • Solid soldering proficiency and comfort meeting daily production targets
  • Strong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to use common hand tools and basic measurement devices

Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Stand, bend, and move throughout the workday
