Job Summary and Qualifications As a PBX operator am responsible for incoming and outgoing calls. Monitors all emergency alarms and notifies necessary personnel. Responds to emergency requests for cardiac care units and resuscitation teams by activating pagers, utilizing the public address system, and following established proceduresPBX operators are also responsible for providing productive clerical support to various departments within the organization that can be performed while answering incoming and outgoing calls and emergency codes.
