Payroll Specialist Responsibilities



  • Process multi-state payroll while ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll regulations.



  • The Payroll Specialist will maintain employee records and support timekeeping processes within ADP Workforce Now.



  • Process payroll adjustments, garnishments, tax documents, and other payroll-related transactions.



  • Prepare payroll reports, journal entries, and month-end payroll documentation.



  • The Payroll Specialist will support new hire onboarding and payroll-related HR activities.



  • Respond to employee payroll questions and provide timely, professional support.



  • The Payroll Specialist will assist with payroll reporting, administrative tasks, and process improvement initiatives.




Preferred Qualifications for Payroll Specialist Role



  • 3+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-state environment.



  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems preferred.



  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax requirements, and employment regulations.



  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.



  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.



  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
