Key Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist



  • Process payroll accurately and timely for multiple companies and operating entities.

  • Review and audit employee time records, compensation changes, new hires, and terminations.

  • Respond to payroll‑related inquiries, support onboarding tasks, and maintain employee payroll data.

  • Prepare payroll reports, support quarterly and annual payroll tax filings, and coordinate audit documentation.

  • Collaborate with Accounting, HR, and leadership to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment across payroll processes.



Qualifications for the Payroll Specialist



  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or Payroll Analyst; Paylocity experience required.

  • Strong understanding of payroll fundamentals, workers’ compensation, and payroll regulations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll systems; strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
