The Panther Group is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support our client’s payroll operations team in Lakeland, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional with strong SAP experience who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

***Not open to C2C or third party agencies. No Visa sponsorship for this role. Must be able to get a US Security Clearance if required***

This role begins with a 4-day workweek (Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts) and may offer additional schedule flexibility after the initial training period.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll garnishments and child support orders, including setup, deductions, and payments
  • Ensure timely and accurate responses to employee and jurisdiction inquiries
  • Maintain compliance with court-ordered deductions and payroll regulations
  • Review and analyze payroll data to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and issues
Required Qualifications
  • Strong experience with SAP payroll systems
  • Hands-on experience processing garnishments, levies, and other court-ordered deductions
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Must be located within 25 miles of Lakeland, FL
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule (on-site presence required as needed)
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
 
Pay up to $26.08 per hour DOE
