    Responsibilities

    When you join our Payroll Specialist team, you will be integral in supporting the accurate processing of payroll and compliance. With your expertise and close attention to detail, you will ensure compliance with laws and regulations in California and remote work states (as applicable). From data entry, processing payroll related information, calculating earnings, and more, this is a unique opportunity to join the team that serves the largest health system in the Central Valley.

    • Location: This is a full-time onsite position in Fresno, Ca.
    • Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

    Qualifications

    Education

    • High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required

    • Associate''s Degree preferred

    Experience

    • Previous experience in Healthcare Accounting or Payroll preferred

    • Experience with automated timekeeping system preferred

    • Full Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required, with an emphasis on Excel (ability to read, parse data, and create formulas).

    • Experience with automated timekeeping/scheduling systems (specifically Kronos Access) preferred.

    • Familiarity with Workday (admin side) or payroll processing preferred.
