Payroll Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our Payroll Team!

The successful candidate will process payrolls daily for a wide variety of clients, differing in size and complexity.   This role not only offers the opportunity to manage payroll for a diverse client base but also builds deep subject matter expertise and plays a key role in client satisfaction and retention.

What you will be doing:

• Process end-to-end payroll for multiple clients
• Collect and validate payroll data (email, timekeeping systems, Excel imports)
• Manage employee updates (pay rates, tax changes, locations, etc.)
• Balance and audit payroll for accuracy
• Send reports to clients and obtain approvals
• Generate ACH files and coordinate check distribution
• Administer PTO accruals and perform regular audits
• Handle garnishments, tax levies, and related correspondence
• Support unemployment claims and employment verifications
• Assist clients with PrismHR and system navigation

• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Excel
• Work well under pressure & tight deadlines

• Payroll Experience
• VERY reliable

• Process improvement mindset
• Knowledge of PTO accruals and PTO audits
