Position Overview:
The Personnel Generalist provides administrative and operational support for human resources functions, assisting with recruitment, employee records management, compliance requirements, and administrative projects. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while supporting employees and applicants.
Duties
Provide administrative support for HR functions including projects, meeting coordination, and general office operations
Maintain employee personnel files and records, including scanning, filing, and electronic record management
Assist with recruitment activities such as posting positions, receiving applications, and helping applicants through the hiring process
Maintain compliance records and databases including CDL certifications, driver’s license audits, DOT clearinghouse inquiries, and required reporting
Skills & Qualifications
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records
Proficiency with computer programs including word processing, spreadsheets, and database systems
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive personnel information
Strong communication and customer service skills when assisting employees and applicants
