Location Lafayette, LA

Salary: $75,000.00 $95,000.00 per year

Heres what it takes to succeed with us.

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of payroll management experience, including multi-state payroll processing
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with payroll systems and ERP integrations (CMiC experience preferred)
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end multi-state payroll processing and payroll tax compliance
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
  • Oversee payroll tax filings, garnishments, benefits deductions, and reconciliations
  • Reconcile payroll-related general ledger accounts and support month-end close activities
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
  • Maintain and improve payroll systems, workflows, and ERP integrations
  • Develop scalable payroll procedures and internal controls
  • Partner with HR, Accounting, and Operations to ensure payroll accuracy and timely reporting
  • Provide payroll guidance, training, and process support to internal teams
