Client Overview:
Our client, a growing client in the professional services space, is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join their organization.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$100k - $110k

Position Overview:
The Payroll Manager is a standalone role, for now, and will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees across various regions within the US. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with extensive knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in multiple jurisdictions, and will oversee a team of at least 5.

Responsibilities of the Payroll Manager:
  • The Payroll Manager will manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees in different countries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Stay abreast of local, state, and international payroll laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with tax laws, labor regulations, and reporting requirements in all jurisdictions.
  • The Payroll Manager will coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure accurate tax withholding, reporting, and compliance in each country.
  • Payroll Manager will implement and maintain payroll systems, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization and comply with local regulations.
  • Continuously assess and improve payroll processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • The Payroll Manager will prepare and review payroll reports, reconcile payroll accounts, and facilitate internal and external audits as needed.
  • Work closely with HR, Finance, Legal, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination of payroll activities.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to payroll, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution of issues.
Required Experience/Skills for the Payroll Manager:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management.
  • Experience using ADP.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in multiple countries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent are a plus.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Payroll Manager:
  • CPP is preferred, but not required.
  • ADP WFN experience is preferred, but not required
Education Requirements:
  • Associate's degree is preferred.
