Payroll Manager

Kforce has a client in Chantilly, VA that is seeking a Payroll Manager.

Key Responsibilities Payroll Operations:

• Manage full-cycle payroll processing for multi-state employees
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll, including earnings, deductions, bonuses, and adjustments
• Review and reconcile payroll data and general ledger postings
• Oversee payroll tax filings and compliance

Deltek Costpoint Administration:

• Serve as system owner for Costpoint Payroll and Labor modules
• Ensure integration between timekeeping, payroll, and project costing
• Validate labor distributions and cost allocations

Government Contracting Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and DCAA requirements
• Support audits and maintain audit-ready documentation
• Enforce labor charging compliance

Reporting & Finance Partnership:

• Prepare payroll reports and support month-end close
• Reconcile payroll to general ledger

Leadership & Process Improvement:

• Manage payroll staff and improve processes
