SCOPE: Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Responsible for payroll preparation/processing, payroll tax reporting, year-end tax preparation/reporting and payroll system maintenance.
- Manages all operations for the department in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations and company policies, practices and procedures.
- Develops Team Members to enhance department effectiveness and manages resources to eliminate excess cost or unnecessary expenditures.
- Responds to Team Member inquiries and concerns relative to payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
- Supports company retention goals by ensuring the compliance of new Team Member attendance at orientation before working a scheduled shift.
- Drives culture by consistently demonstrating leadership, a positive attitude, and the BIG Service standards.
- Provides BIG Service to internal guests and ensures their complete satisfaction, inclusive of greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, anticipating and meeting guest needs and preferences, remaining calm and professional when dealing with guests that are difficult or upset.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: - Must be 21 years of age or older with a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Three years payroll experience in a leadership role.
- Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Wyoming gaming/racing license.
