Job Description
SUMMARY
The Payroll/HR Support will be responsible for processing all aspects of a bi-weekly and weekly payroll while also providing administrative HR assistance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compile employee time and payroll data.
- Verify attendance, hours worked and pay adjustments and post information onto designated records.
- process payroll on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy in wages, bonuses, overtime, and deductions.
- Timely and accurate processing of all garnishments in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide support for payroll inquiries
- Provide support to the Human Resources Department by processing new hires and terminations
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent skills using Microsoft Office and Excel
- Strong skills using and understanding the flow of transactions in an integrated and automated payroll accounting system.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
- Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
