Job Description

SUMMARY

The Payroll/HR Support will be responsible for processing all aspects of a bi-weekly and weekly payroll while also providing administrative HR assistance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Compile employee time and payroll data.
  • Verify attendance, hours worked and pay adjustments and post information onto designated records.
  • process payroll on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy in wages, bonuses, overtime, and deductions.
  • Timely and accurate processing of all garnishments in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Provide support for payroll inquiries
  • Provide support to the Human Resources Department by processing new hires and terminations
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent skills using Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Strong skills using and understanding the flow of transactions in an integrated and automated payroll accounting system.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
  • Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
