Our client in Keene, NH, is looking for a Payroll and Accounting Specialist  to join their team!

Your qualifications for the Payroll and Accounting Specialist  position are as follows:

• Associate degree in accounting or finance and 1+ years of accounting experience, including general ledger, accounts payable, and payroll, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Non-profit experience preferred
• Solid understanding of accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

• $34-36/hour depending on skills and experience

For the Payroll and Accounting Specialist your duties will include:

• Process payroll
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Reconcile accounts
• Assist with budgets and audit activities
• Make cash deposits
• Prepare reports
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure regulatory compliance
• Other tasks as assigned
