Global Payroll Services (GPS) team currently has an opportunity for a specialist within our NAM Payroll Operations team. The candidate must have strong organization skills and an excellent team mentality. The ideal candidate should have basic experience with one or all of the following: end to end payroll administration using Workday, resolving taxation issues, reconciliation of payroll data, policy compliance, Service Now, and spreadsheet application knowledge.

The candidate will apply specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Support the team in data analysis and problem-solving. Candidates must demonstrate analytical aptitude and problem-solving skills. This position requires a strong understanding of NAM payroll processing including federal and state regulations.

Basic Functions:
• Respond to Payroll requests that are submitted through the Service Now ticketing system. This includes ongoing monitoring from case creation to case closure and ensuring the information in the case is complete and the appropriate documentation has been provided
• Answer Payroll inquiries via a shared mailbox
• Provide verbal and written feedback to questions from vendors, employees, and global partners
• Performs reconciliation and validation checks on employee data and update as necessary
• Analyze data and metrics in Excel using pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other advanced features
• Assist in managing time-sensitive payroll-related tasks
• Performs more complex tasks in support of the team manager and area projects as assigned
• Participate in project work as needed including New York State overpayment recovery beginning in 2026 which includes:
• Population review/identification
• Coordination, review, and Workday records update for payroll or time and absence related data
• Assist with the application of statutory rules and compliance regulations.
• Understand and analyze complex payroll calculations and work under supervision to process payroll transactions accurately
• Understand the importance of risk assessment and escalate potential risks to senior team members, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications/Skills:
• High School Diploma/GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1-3 years relevant experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Service Now functionality preferred
• Prioritizes work in alignment with organizational and departmental goals. Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
• Ability to operate in a team environment, working efficiently in a multi office/time zone/cross-cultural environment Proficient user of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) required
