We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. As a Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for managing all payroll activities and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all payroll functions. You'll be working in a fast-paced, challenging environment where your skills in Construction, Variance Analysis, Canadian and US payroll, Reconciliation, and Davis Bacon will be put to the test. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:
As a Payroll Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Processing and managing all aspects of payroll for both Canadian and US employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.
2. Conducting thorough variance analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
3. Reconciling payroll data and ensuring accurate reporting and recording of payroll transactions.
4. Ensuring compliance with Davis Bacon Act requirements in all payroll functions.
5. Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data with other business systems.
6. Preparing and delivering payroll reports for review by management.
7. Staying updated on changes in payroll and tax laws and regulations and ensuring company compliance.
8. Participating in internal and external audits related to payroll and providing necessary documentation and information.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Payroll Analyst position must have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in the Construction industry.
2. Proven experience with Variance Analysis, Canadian and US payroll, Reconciliation, and Davis Bacon.
3. Strong knowledge of payroll systems and regulations.
4. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
6. Proficient in using payroll software and other related systems.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
