Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Payroll Administrator, your duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Managing semimonthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2. Utilizing UKG Ready for payroll processing, timekeeping, and record-keeping.
3. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of payroll practices, wage and labor laws, and compliance requirements, and applying this knowledge to all payroll activities.
4. Preparing and maintaining accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
5. Handling payroll inquiries and resolving any payroll discrepancies.
6. Working closely with the HR team to ensure accurate and timely processing of new hires, promotions, and terminations.
7. Ensuring compliance with all internal policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to payroll.
8. Participating in audits and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following:

1. A minimum of 4 years of experience in payroll administration, preferably in the healthcare or nonprofit industry.
2. Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
3. Experience with UKG Ready or similar payroll software.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of payroll practices, wage and labor laws, and compliance requirements.
5. Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
6. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
10. A bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
