Position Overview
We are currently looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our Team, this is a TEMPORARY position!
Responsibilities:
- Position will process payroll for two dealerships.
- Prepare, review, and reconcile the dealership's weekly payrolls.
- Process withholdings, deductions, wage garnishments, or other special payroll actions and changes affecting net wages.
- Ensure payroll issues are escalated and resolved.
- Maintain current knowledge of city, state, and federal laws concerning payroll.
- Ability to plan and prioritize tasks and deadlines.
- Work closely with Corporate Payroll Manager with escalated concerns.
- Responsible for onboarding and offboarding process for team members.
- Maintain team member files to include I-9s.
- Maintain & handle leaves of absence, coordinate with onsite leadership and following local and federal laws.
- Responsible for gathering all information regarding Worker Compensation injuries and report to accordingly by submitting all necessary information to insurance provider.
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of prior payroll experience preferred.
- Automotive Human Resource and Payroll experience preferred.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Experience with ADP, Workforce Now and CDK preferred.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and adapt to change.
- Proficient knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.
