Payrate : $25 - $30 per hour

Description :

• This role is 100% onsite.
• Focuses on high-speed, high-accuracy alpha and numeric data entry from medical documents.
• Responsible for posting payments from insurance carriers (EOBs) and patients, balancing daily deposits, and reconciling remittances to ensure accurate accounts receivable data.
• Interpret and accurately key data from paper and electronic EOBs into the RMS.
• Identify, calculate, and apply contractual adjustments, deductibles, copays, and co-insurance based on payer contracts.
• Balance daily deposits (cash logs) against system posting reports.
• Resolve discrepancies between the payment amount and the billed amount.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines when handling PHI (Protected Health Information).
• Key alphanumeric data from EOBs, payment notices, and correspondence in assigned batches.
• Perform data verification to ensure accuracy.
• Meet daily quotas for number of claims keyed.
