Patient Services Supervisor - Healthcare | Location: Phoenix, AZ 85008
Compensation: $19-$20 per hour| Full-Time

Job Summary
We are seeking a Patient Services Supervisor to lead a high-performing team dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality and patient dining experiences. In this role, you'll oversee daily patient meal service operations, support and develop team members, and ensure the highest standards of service, diet accuracy, and food safety. Partnering closely with clinical, nursing, and culinary teams, you'll help create a compassionate dining experience that supports healing, well-being, and our commitment to REAL food and genuine service.
What You'll Do
- Lead and support daily patient dining operations to ensure exceptional service and patient satisfaction.
- Supervise, coach, and develop team members while fostering a positive, patient-centered culture.
- Ensure meal service complies with diet orders, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with nursing, clinical nutrition, and culinary teams to support patient needs and service excellence.
- Monitor service quality, patient feedback, and operational performance to drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate staffing, training, and daily workflow to support efficient operations.
- Support patient rounding, service recovery, audits, and quality initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of food service, hospitality, healthcare, or patient services experience; healthcare experience preferred.
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and patient dining or healthcare service standards preferred.
- Ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
- Experience with patient dining systems or healthcare technology preferred.
- ServSafe® Certification required or ability to obtain.
- Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
Physical and Sensory Requirements
In this role, you will spend most of your time in offices, patient care areas, and meetings, but periodic kitchen visits are part of your oversight responsibilities. Therefore, this job involves occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and a kitchen environment with fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise. Occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions, extreme temperatures, and vibration may also occur in the kitchen area. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
