BayCare Clinic Eye Specialists is looking for a PRN Patient Services Representative to join our team in Green Bay, WI. We’re looking for a compassionate, thoughtful candidate who wants to contribute to a positive experience for all our patients. The team is looking for someone who is willing to work 2 days a week, Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. No Holidays! No Weekends!

The Clinic:

BayCare Clinic is a successful, dynamic group comprised of 19 specialties. We are a physician-owned entity with joint ownership in Aurora BayCare Medical Center, a 167-bed hospital located in Green Bay, WI, offering us a built-in referral base. Each of our specialty practices have clinical autonomy and are financially sound.

The Practice:

We are a team of dedicated Ophthalmologists and Optometrists who exist to meet the ophthalmic needs of the people of Northeastern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. BayCare Clinic Eye Specialists offers more specialty services than any other provider in northeastern Wisconsin and we are the largest Ophthalmology practice north of Milwaukee, with four locations in northeastern Wisconsin. We have a highly trained, collaborative team of ophthalmologists, most of whom specialize in one aspect of eye health. We have cornea, glaucoma, retina, pediatric and oculoplastic specialists.

The Job:

  • Greets and checks in patients.
  • Assists patients in filling out patient forms.
  • Answers phones, takes messages, routes calls when necessary.
  • Develops patient charts.
  • Enters pertinent information into patient charts.
  • Schedules patient appointments.
  • Collects co-payments from patients.
  • Performs general office duties.
  • Respects and maintains confidentiality.
  • Works in a safe, compliant, and ethical manner at all times.

The Requirements:

  • A minimum of a high school education or equivalent.
  • Post high school coursework in Medical Terminology and/or HealthCare Business Services is appropriate.
  • Must have a working knowledge of medical terms and health insurance.
  • Must possess strong desktop computer skills.
  • Experience with EPIC is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a medical setting is preferred.
