Job Purpose: This position is responsible for day-to-day administrative and general office duties including word processing, filing, faxing, and data entry. Greets/assists patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner. May receive incoming telephone calls and will treat in the same manner.

Participates with other staff to seek account resolution.
Attends staff meetings
Maintains patient confidentiality.
Performs related work as required.
Job Requirements/Qualifications: (Describe minimum qualifications, preferred or required)
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: One year of work experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of standard operating procedures for clinic operation. Knowledge of safety practices and hazardous conditions to provide a safe work environment. Knowledge of principles and practices of supervision. Ability to work effectively with external agencies, patients and staff. Ability to train and motivate employees. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

Working Conditions: Work is performed in an office environment. Contact with staff, patients and outside agencies. Occasional evening or weekend work.
Physical Demands: Requires frequent sitting, standing for prolonged periods. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record and prepare reports and communicate appropriately.
