What You"ll Do

As the Patient Services Manager, you"ll serve as a key operational leader responsible for delivering exceptional patient dining services while ensuring efficient daily operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee daily patient food service operations, including kitchen support, tray line, meal delivery, and tray retrieval
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 25 union frontline employees
  • Ensure patient meal service meets Sodexo and hospital standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor staffing levels, workflow, and operational performance to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Manage payroll processes and support daily labor management activities
  • Partner with nursing and hospital leadership to enhance the patient experience and resolve service concerns
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, regulatory, and hospital policies
  • Utilize technology platforms to support patient dining operations, reporting, and performance metrics
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement

What You Bring

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in food service, hospitality, healthcare, or a related operational environment
  • Experience leading and developing frontline teams in a fast-paced setting
  • Union management experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience with payroll systems and food service technology is a plus
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and improving the patient experience
  • A willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within a large healthcare organization
