Verify patient insurance eligibility, provider participation, and required documentation to ensure accurate referral processing. Serve as a liaison between patients, Primary Care Providers, Specialty Providers, and other healthcare staff to support continuity of care. Facilitate communication among patients, physicians, nurses, and clinic staff regarding referral status, appointment coordination, treatment authorizations, and resource needs. Enter and maintain referral data in the managed care system, ensuring timely follow-up on pending items.
