Job Summary
We are seeking a Patient Care Representative to join our team. No healthcare experience required. Applicant must be a growth minded and outgoing person who possesses strong collaboration skills.  The primary responsibility of the PSR is to ensure 100% customer satisfaction through a welcoming and attentive atmosphere, efficient operations, and strong communication with the providers in the clinic (physical therapists and physician). 
Responsibilities 
  • Greet patients at check-in and ensure they are scheduled for future appointments, account balance is up to date
     and all insurance requirements are current.
  • Answer phone calls from patients, and referral sources throughout the day.
  • Complete new patient registration
  • Complete Insurance/benefits verification, and present accurate PT benefits to the patient at Initial Evaluation.
  • Run reports daily to ensure clinic is compliant with payer requirements including: prescriptions, Medicare plans of care and progress reports, authorizations, referrals, visit restrictions, medical necessity reviews, etc.
  • Complete all Medical Records requests.
  • Order all monthly clinic office supplies and marketing materials
 
 Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Care Coordinator or in a similar position is preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects or tasks and prioritize appropriately
  • Ability to work in fast-paced situations and make sound decisions quickly
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and high level of compassion
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
