Description

Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Scheduling Coordinator to join our medical facility. The Patient Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for managing the scheduling of patient appointments and ensuring that the clinic runs efficiently. The successful candidate will be a critical part of our team and must possess excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling patient appointments and managing the clinic schedule
  • Answering phone calls and responding to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Greeting patients and checking them in for their appointments
  • Verifying patient information and updating their medical records
  • Coordinating with healthcare providers and nurses to ensure patient needs are met
  • Following up with patients to confirm appointments and remind them of any necessary preparations
  • Managing patient wait times and keeping them informed of any delays
  • Adhering to clinic policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations
  • Maintaining a clean and organized reception area
  • Assisting with other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a medical office or clinic setting preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a past-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
