  What You’ll Do<\/span>

  As the Patient Safety Specialist, you’ll serve as a key leader in developing and supporting initiatives that strengthen patient safety, reduce risk, and improve clinical outcomes across the organization.<\/span>

  Key responsibilities include:<\/span>
  <\/p>

  • Leading patient safety and quality improvement initiatives, system -wide<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Managing and enhancing safety event reporting processes and systems<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Conducting root cause analyses and ensuring effective corrective action plans<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Identifying trends through data analysis and implementing proactive prevention strategies<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ensuring compliance with CMS, accreditation, and regulatory standards<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve clinical workflows and patient outcomes<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Providing education, coaching, and guidance on patient safety best practices<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Supporting and promoting a strong culture of safety throughout the organization<\/span>

    What We’re Looking For<\/span>
    <\/p>

    • Registered Nurse (RN) required<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Bachelor’s degree required<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Experience in patient safety, quality improvement, or clinical healthcare environments<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong knowledge of CMS, DNV, and other regulatory/accreditation standards<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Certification in Patient Safety (CPPS)certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 24 months)<\/span>
