Shift:  Friday-Sunday; 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Through direct observation and compassionate interaction, you’ll play a key role in creating a secure, comfortable environment while helping patients get the care and attention they need.

• Provides 1:1 direct observation to assigned patient to prevent patient self-injury in a situation where patient/family is unable to do so.
• Communicates with assigned nursing/nursing support staff on assigned area immediately in case of emergency, or as needed to provide patient care on routine basis.
• Demonstrates initiative to improve quality and customer service.
• Abides by all hospital and departmental policies.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with people of diverse professional, educational and lifestyle backgrounds.

Education:

• High School graduate or GED

Experience:

• Familiarity with healthcare environment preferred
