Job Summary
Full Time, Days
The Maternal Neonatal Nurse Navigator functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team. He/she will guide a mother through pregnancy assisting with all of the subspecialty appointments and tours. In addition, she will provide emotional support, educational materials, and be a first line contact for the families for all of their needs. The nurse navigator will communicate throughout the pregnancy with the referring physician. She/he will serve as a daily liaison between the patients, their family, the medical center, surgeons and staff. This role will also include community outreach projects.
Qualifications
Minimum: Associates Degree in Nursing
Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing
Other Qualifications: Two to three years of nursing experience in labor and delivery.
Requirements:
Registered Nurse - Licensed in the state of Florida
