Patient Monitor

Location: Wichita, KS

Facility: Via Christi Hospital St. Francis

Department: Virtual Safety Monitor

Schedule: PRN | Day Shift, 12 hour shifts, 7am-7pm

• Provide observation and surveillance of assigned patients.
• Monitor patients by use of video monitors.
• Communicate and/or instruct patients by use of 2-way audio device.
• Notify clinical staff of any changes in patient condition and/or safety risk level.
• Complete documentation of observations of patient activities, patient behaviors and other safety & comfort related issues. 

Licensure/ Certification/ Registration:

Preferred Credential(s):

• BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

• CNA, PCT, HHA, or CMA experience
• Administrative experience
• Must have computer skills and great communication skills
• Customer service skills
• Attention to detail.
• Coverage as needed for call-ins or scheduled time off for full-time and part-time staff. 
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Minimum of 1 12 hour shift per pay period (bi-weekly)
