The Standardized Patient Program position involves teaching and evaluating medical students, residents, and graduate nurses under the guidance of the Academic Director and Trainer.
- Simulate medical problems and act as a patient for interviews and examinations.
- Complete checklists on history-taking and physical diagnosis skills.
- Provide feedback to improve students' clinical skills.
- Demonstrate SP skills at faculty workshops.
- Travel to various medical schools and residency programs for training and assessment.
- Assist in training new Standardized Patient Instructors.
- Participate in performance evaluations to ensure consistency and reliability.
