Position: Patient Coordinator
Location: Cambridge Dental Group - Dearborn Heights, MI
Schedule: Full-Time

Are you a detail-oriented dental professional with experience in a dental office?

MUST HAVE 1+ year dental office experience

Cambridge Dental Group is a dynamic, high-volume dental practice in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. We are seeking a full-time Patient Coordinator with prior experience in scheduling and insurance. If you're skilled, organized, and customer-focused, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do:

  • Greet and check in patients
  • Coordinate complex treatment schedules and referrals
  • Verify and submit insurance claims
  • Collect payments, explain financial policies, and follow up on patient balances
  • Maintain accurate patient records and appointment histories
  • Serve as a liaison between clinical and administrative teams
Requirements:
  • 2+ years dental front office experience required
  • Experience in a dental office is a must
  • Strong knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing (PPO, Medicaid, etc.)
  • Familiarity with practice management software (Open Dental preferred)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Professional, dependable, and confident in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

Education and Training
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent of combination of education and experience.

FLSA Status: Hourly

Reports to: Operations Manager.
