Are you a detail-oriented dental professional with experience in a multi-specialty office?
Wave Dental Specialists is a dynamic, high-volume multi-specialty dental practice in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. We are seeking a full-time Patient Coordinator with prior experience in specialty scheduling and insurance. If you're skilled, organized, and customer-focused, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
- Greet and check in patients across multiple specialties (endo, oral surgery, perio, etc.)
- Coordinate complex treatment schedules and referrals between specialists
- Verify and submit insurance claims for specialty procedures
- Collect payments, explain financial policies, and follow up on patient balances
- Maintain accurate patient records and appointment histories
- Serve as a liaison between clinical and administrative teams
Requirements:
- 2+ years dental front office experience required
- Experience in a multi-specialty or specialty dental office is a must
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing (PPO, Medicaid, etc.)
- Familiarity with practice management software (Open Dental preferred)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Professional, dependable, and confident in a fast-paced environment

Requirements
Education and Training- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent of combination of education and experience.
