BayCare is seeking experienced patient care technicians to join our staffing resource office float team. Must be comfortable floating to all hospitals and units in Region 1, which includes the following facilities:
• St. Anthonys • Morton Plant • Mease Dunedin • Mease Countryside • Morton Plant NorthBay Hospitals.
Team member will be notified approximately 2 hours prior to start of shift which hospital they are working.
Summary: Provides direct patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required Certification includes Basic Life Support from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network. 6 months acute care experience or 1-year Skilled Nursing Facility experience or completion of Nursing Fundamentals from a Nursing Program or EMT certification. Paramedic license for ER only.
