Schedule: Full time Shift: Night (United States of America) Address: 701 WINTHROP AVE City: GLENDALE HEIGHTS State: Illinois Postal Code: 60139

Job Description: Schedule: 36 hours/week; Shifts available 3:00pm - 11:30pm or 11:00pm - 7:30am, w/rotating weekends and holidays

  • Supports nursing staff with patient care tasks.
  • Maintains clean and orderly patient rooms.
  • Aids with movement and placement of patients.
  • Assists patients with personal care and activities of daily living.
  • Reports findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
  • Documents necessary records accurately and timely.
  • Monitors and reports patient conditions.
  • Ensures proper functioning and maintenance of medical equipment.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Follows safety and infection control protocols.
  • Participates in training and development activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience:

  • 1+ applicable PCT experience
  • Previous bedside patient care in an acute care unit, unit secretary, monitor technician, or equivalent medical experience

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS [Required]
  • Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A [Required] OR
  • Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA [Required] OR
  • Emergency Medical Tech Cert (EMT [Required]
