Job Summary and Qualifications As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will be a vital part of our collaborative nursing team, supporting Registered Nurses in providing hands-on care and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients.You'llassistwith daily needs such as vital signs, mobility, and personal care, while helping RNs monitor conditions and carry out care plans. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality Schedule: Full-time Nights (6:45-7:15a); 3 12-hr shifts after completing the PCT Orientation What qualifications you will need:A minimum of a High school diploma or GED required. 1+ years of experience in an acute care setting, Preferred. Kansas Certified Nursing Assistant License required or completion of the HCA Patient Care Tech Essentials training. BCLS certification required upon hire. With no hospital-based experience, must be able to attend the PCT Essentials training (M-F 8a - 5pm first 2 weeks of employment).
