Job Description

SUMMARY

Under limited supervision, coordinates and maintains continuity of patient care for each shift. Serves as an administrative liaison interpreting and communicating hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Patients served include Neonate through Adult-Geriatric.

This job has supervisory responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

To qualify for the position, the candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing; currently licensed as an RN in the State of Maryland; successful completion of required hospital, nursing and unit orientation, including but not limited to BCLS, ACLS and PALS certification. Professional Certification in a nursing specialty preferred. Must demonstrate ability to learn and use computer systems in order to manage patient information. Must demonstrate effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Three to five years' experience with informal/formal leadership level.

Pay Range: $47.00 - $70.54
