Responsibilities/Job Description:
As a Patient Care Supervisor (RN) you will provide intentional, decisive, and collaborative leadership in managing the day-to-day clinical operations at the Advanced Treatment Center. This is a unique nurse leader position with the opportunity to work directly with the blood and bone marrow transplant (BMT) program and the broader cancer care service line within M Health Fairview. This leader oversees registered nurses who work within the BMT infusion center, BMT clinic, and a specimen collection lab. He or she will be part of the Advanced Treatment Center leadership team, reporting to the director of clinical operations.
What you will do as a Patient Care Supervisor - RN:
Provides daily workflow direction to site staff to ensure providers have adequate staffing assistance to accommodate clinic efficiency while also achieving site objectives
Leads and/or participates in project/team improvement initiatives
Ensures clinic compliance with OSHA, Joint Commission and other regulatory bodies/requirements
Provides direction and assists with care of patients in urgent and emergent situations
Assists with the development and implementation of required training, as well as enforcement of policies and procedures in alignment with organization leadership
What you will need:
Current Minnesota RN License
BLS Certification
Associate's (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Proven process improvement experience
3-5 years of nursing experience in an ambulatory or inpatient care setting
Minimum of two years of supervisory or nursing leadership experience in a clinical setting
