Position Summary

Posterity Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative to serve as a key point of contact for returning patients while supporting day-to-day administrative and operational needs across the organization.

This role is responsible for managing inbound calls from returning patients, triaging inquiries appropriately, and ensuring a high-quality, responsive patient experience. In addition, this position will provide administrative support to the broader team, including assisting leadership, coordinating logistics for events, and supporting internal operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and manage inbound calls from returning patients in a timely and professional manner
  • Triage patient inquiries, concerns, and requests, routing to the appropriate clinical or operational team members as needed
  • Provide clear, accurate information regarding services, appointments, and next steps in care
  • Ensure all patient interactions are documented accurately in the EMR or relevant systems
  • Assist with scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming patient appointments
  • Support patient follow-up, including outreach for missed visits and care continuity
  • Prepare and maintain patient records and documentation
  • Coordinate with clinical teams to support smooth patient flow and care delivery
  • Assist with general administrative tasks and operational workflows
  • Executive & Operational Support
  • Support cross-functional projects and day-to-day business operations

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in a patient services, customer service, or administrative role (healthcare experience preferred)
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage competing responsibilities
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and/or scheduling systems preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
  • Comfortable handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
