Patient Care Receptionist

Fox Family Dental in Peoria, AZ, is seeking a friendly and dependable Patient Care Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice. This role is essential to creating a positive patient experience and supporting the flow of our daily operations.

As part of our front office team, you’ll support scheduling, patient communication, and general office coordination while working closely with both patients and clinical staff. We’re looking for someone who enjoys staying busy, connecting with people, and growing their skills in a supportive environment.

Compensation: $18-23 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

• Monday-Thursday: 7:30 am - 4:45 pm
• Occasional Fridays: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Greet patients professionally and create a welcoming, comfortable experience
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and support daily patient flow.
• Confirm hygiene appointments and support full, efficient schedules.
• Obtain insurance eligibility and detailed benefit breakdowns.
• Ensure paperwork and patient records are completed accurately and maintained in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with patients and team members.
• Assist with front office and administrative duties to support daily workflow.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of dental or healthcare front office experience required
• Dental assisting experience or front office crossover experience is a plus
• Familiarity with dental insurance eligibility and benefit breakdowns
• Experience with Dentrix practice management software preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Organized, reliable, and able to multitask in a busy environment
