Position Overview Timber Dental is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with at least one year of experience in a dental or healthcare front office setting who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering an exceptional patient experience.
Schedule 4 days. 7:30am - 5:30pm with an hour lunch. Day off subject to office availability.

Key Responsibilities
Greet and check in patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience
Answer phones and manage appointment scheduling to maintain a productive schedule
Verify patient information and maintain accurate records
Perform insurance verification and provide basic benefit breakdowns to patients
Collect co-pays, balances, and process patient payments
Coordinate patient flow and support the clinical team as needed
Follow up with patients regarding appointments and treatment
Maintain an organized and efficient front office environment
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental or healthcare front office role preferred
Experience with dental insurance verification and patient scheduling preferred
Familiarity with practice management software is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment
Positive attitude and strong customer service mindset
